CHESTERFIELD — The Town Office Building Committee reviewed potential locations for a Public Safety Complex and Town Offices, with discussion centered on three properties: 11 Main Road, 3 North Road, and 25 North Road. Committee Chair Larry Holmberg outlined the formal process underway since 2003, while Bent Hicks presented options under consideration. The majority of discussion focused on the 25 North Road location, recently made available, and whether its existing barn could serve both public safety and town offices or solely the public safety function.
The committee waived approval of prior meeting minutes and proceeded with ethics guidance from Town Counsel and the State Ethics Commission.
