CHESTERFIELD — Select Board approves utility poles for Verizon development on Pynchon Road. Chair Roger Fuller, with members Trish Colson-Montgomery and Don Willard, unanimously voted to permit installation of poles along Pynchon Road after review by the Highway Superintendent. The board appointed Jennifer Marston to the Historical Commission and accepted Sarah Hamilton's resignation from the Planning Board effective May 4.
Hampshire Regional High School Committee increased its FY27 budget by 5.66 percent, raising Chesterfield's assessment to $621,345, with health insurance cited as the primary driver of rising costs.
