CHESTERFIELD — The Chesterfield Select Board unanimously approved the warrant for a Special Town Meeting on September 30, 2026, excluding two articles pending financial certification. Co-Chair Trish Colson-Montgomery moved approval, Clerk Donald Willard seconded, and the Board voted unanimously. The Board removed a Historical Commission matching-funds article because free cash has not been certified, and a Cemetery Commission bill article because the expense can still be paid from a revolving fund.
The Board also approved two committee appointments: Lyle Sienkiewicz to the Public Safety Building Committee and Lee Manchester to the Town Office Building Committee, both unanimously.
