CHESTERFIELD — Select Board authorizes grant application for Lake Damon Dam reconstruction project. Co-Chair Roger Fuller, with unanimous board backing, signed applications for a construction grant and Conservation permit on behalf of the Lake Damon Corporation for the 1.8-million-dollar project, with the Town as grant holder covering costs before reimbursement by state funds. The board also unanimously approved Eversource's revised plan to replace utility poles from South Street through Cowper Road, after the utility relocated one pole away from a stream and eliminated two taller poles in response to prior concerns.

The board directed Staff Contact Brenda Lessard to facilitate a joint meeting with Goshen's Select Board regarding a shared Emergency Management Director truck replacement.
