Select Board approves Hilltown Theater events and advances municipal projects

CHESTERFIELD — Select Board unanimously approves theater events and advances municipal business. Chair Roger Fuller, joined by Trish Colson-Montgomery and Don Willard, backed a Hilltown Theater special event application for July 17 and 19 at 92 North Road contingent on final inspections, awarded a $2,150 stone wall contract to East Tibetan Stonework for Gate and Center Cemeteries, and approved an amended Procurement Policy. The Board also voted unanimously to sign a Letter of Support for a Library ADA bathroom grant and an amended MVP 2.0 contract extending the grant period to June 30, 2027.
Fuller pressed for clarification on engineering fees for the North Road and Damon Pond Road reconstruction project, stating the Town has $52,877.75 remaining in budget to cover escalating costs.
