CHESTERFIELD — Select Board approves $1.25M FY26 CDBG grant with housing and social service allocations. Chair Roger Fuller, Vice Chair Trish Colson-Montgomery, and member Don Willard unanimously backed the application at a public hearing, allocating $769,545 for housing rehabilitation of eleven owner-occupied homes, $250,000 for public social services split among Hilltown Food Pantry ($53,042.75), Health Outreach Program for Elders ($38,243), and Hilltown Elder Network ($127,051.25), and $187,745 for administration. The grant also includes funding for a planning project to expand the Community Room at The Maples Senior Apartments in Worthington.

The board separately approved nine HCDC lien releases and one lien discharge for 204 Ireland Street, and initiated repayment negotiations with HCDC over a $11,250 error stemming from an incorrect lien discharge on 502 Main Road.
