Recreation Committee approves spending for three spring events.

Recreation Committee · Meeting of February 5, 2026

CHESTERFIELD — Recreation Committee approves three spring programs. Chesterfield's Recreation Committee unanimously backed spending for a Pokémon card trading day, a matchbox rally on March 15, and an Easter egg hunt on March 29. Committee member Megan Willard motioned for each, with Don Willard seconding.

The matchbox rally will run two cars instead of three to shorten the event. Meanwhile, the December Christmas event drew lower-than-expected attendance, prompting discussion of earlier scheduling or weekday timing for future celebrations.
