CHESTERFIELD — Planning Board approves special permit for Hilltown Theatre annual performances at 92 North Road. The board voted to approve conditions for the permit, requiring a written parking plan with traffic direction, noise control measures, public health protections, and emergency building access procedures. Conditions also require a statement from Planning Board member Jack Lyons detailing community benefits of the activity.
The board also addressed new state regulations on solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems installations, noting that Chesterfield must adopt zoning bylaws for stand-alone BESS facilities before the October 1 state deadline.
