Chesterfield's MVP Committee unanimously approved a roof repair grant estimated at $52,500 or the Participant's leading funding of $15,000. Dr. Colbert, Emergency Management Director and Committee member, reported receipt of one bid for the water system improvement filter due March 3, with a project award expected the following week.
The Committee tabled discussion of solar array expansion pending a ground array grant proposal estimated at $200,000. Structural repairs to the existing roof, which is sagging due to multiple layers and would not support solar panels, are being referred to the Select Board.
