Library Trustees approve funding plan for ADA bathroom project.

Board of Library Trustees · Meeting of April 13, 2026

Chesterfield Library Trustees unanimously back $200,000 transfer from free cash for ADA bathroom construction. Librarian Cindy Squier reported that March circulation declined from the prior year; the library has hired new employee Deborah Kozlowski, training to begin in May. Select Board co-chair Roger Fuller will prepare design plans, bids, and cost estimates for the grant application; Town Administrator Brenda Lessard will draft the Town Meeting warrant article.

The trustees approved $250 for a hands-on geology science program offered by two residents and granted approval for building repairs including ramp safety work and a second handicap parking sign.
