Library board approves ADA bathroom grant application.

CHESTERFIELD — The Board of Library Trustees advanced an ADA-compliant bathroom grant application. Chairperson Linda Urban reported April 2026 circulation increased modestly from the prior year, with patron count at 213, and recommended continuation of data collection for all programs. Urban noted that State Aid can support any purpose benefiting library services and provided the board with FY2026 award listings highlighting Chesterfield's recognition.
The trustees scheduled May 21, 2026, for Town Administrator Brenda Lessard, Select Board Vice Chair Trish Olson-Montgomery, and Library Trustees Linda Urban and Amy Kavalis to finalize and submit the grant application for the bathroom construction.
