CHESTERFIELD — Historical Commission approves Wyman Tavern preservation and compliance spending. Chair Sarah See led the vote to unanimously authorize preservation work on the Tavern's roof, structural beams, and masonry, along with a $5,000 expenditure for State Insurance Commission compliance documentation of the Tavern inventory. See reported she has contacted Trustees regarding celebration planning for Sam Eddy and noted ongoing work on a historical sign planned for the Forge.
The board advanced both initiatives without recorded opposition.
