Ten documents were recorded at the Hampshire County Registry of Deeds for Chesterfield addresses from Aug. 28 to Sept. 26, but most were not sales: five were declarations of homestead, and others included a tax lien, an estate tax affidavit, and a special permit decision. Only two or three recordings appear to be actual property transfers, including bank-to-buyer deeds at 23 Bissell Rd. and 588 Main Rd. and a trust transfer at 71 Fuller Rd. No sale prices had reached the registry for any of them as of this report, and the small number of genuine transfers is too limited to establish a price range, median, or market trend for the period.
