The Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded seven Chesterfield property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, along with five other filings, including three homestead declarations, an estate tax affidavit and a special permit decision. No sale prices had posted for any of the seven transfers as of this report, so a price range and median are not available this period. The most notable transaction was a Sept. 4 conveyance of a Chesterfield parcel from the Fiegenbaum family to the town. Financial institutions, including Florence Bank twice, were sellers in four of the seven ownership transfers, and Cummington Road and Fuller Road each saw two filings on the same day.
