Chesterfield Capital Planning Committee updates 18-year capital plan

Chesterfield Capital Planning Committee approves updates to the town capital plan through 2044. Chair Roger Fuller presented revisions that increase backhoe pricing from $125,000 to $150,000 and extend the broadband debt schedule two additional years at direction of the Municipal Light Plant Board. The committee also refreshed stabilization fund balances and free cash projections.
Member John Follet reviewed Capital Planning seminar materials and committed to sharing resources with all members. After approving minutes from the previous meeting, the committee will reconvene March 12, 2026.
