Board of Health approves septic plan; weighs transfer station fees.

CHESTERFIELD — The Chesterfield Board of Health approved a septic plan application from Damon Reeves and paid a $75 fee. Chair John Chandler presided with members Kirke Henshaw and Peg Whalen present. The board reviewed transfer station fee schedules from other towns and tasked Whalen with preparing a comparison table for future meetings.
Board members Chandler and Henshaw agreed to attend a May 6 emergency preparedness tabletop discussion. The board also fielded a complaint from Cemetery Commissioner Frederica Chick and Cemetery Commission Chair Dee Cinner regarding a large Connex container placement near Mount Cemetery and concerns about transporting such containers across a small bridge on Mount Road.
